Literacy Pathways

Literacy Launchpad

For students in Grades 3-5:

Description:  10 weeks (program will continue with an additional 10 beginning January 2027)

Literacy Launchpad (Grades 3–5) is an exciting and supportive reading program designed to help young learners build confidence and success in reading.

Grounded in the Science of Reading, this engaging one-hour, in-person program combines fun, interactive learning with proven instructional methods to strengthen phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.

 Students benefit from a small-group setting that encourages connection and participation, while also receiving individualized 1:1 support tailored to their unique learning needs.

Led by skilled literacy instructors in a welcoming and inclusive environment, Literacy Launchpad helps children develop strong reading foundations, celebrate their progress, and discover the joy of becoming confident, capable readers.

The program includes parent resources and practical strategies to help families support reading at home and reinforce the skills students are learning throughout the program.

Designed for participants who: Struggle with reading skills (such as Decoding, fluency, or Comprehension)

May have a diagnosed or suspected Learning Disability or ADHD (formal diagnosis not necessary)

Weekly Sessions:          60 minutes

Thursdays                     5:15 – 6:15

September 2026 to April 2027

Program Delivery Format:         IN-PERSON

Cost:    $300 for 10 weeks including parent portion and take home packages

$ 575 for 20 week including parent portion and take home packages

Literacy Momentum

For students in Grades 6-9

Description:  10 weeks (program will continue with additional 10 beginning January 2027)

Literacy Momentum (Grades 6–9) is a dynamic 90-minute literacy program designed to help students strengthen their reading, writing, and learning skills while building confidence and independence.

Grounded in the Science of Reading, this engaging, in-person program combines explicit instruction with meaningful practice in vocabulary development, reading fluency, comprehension, written expression, and critical thinking.

Students benefit from a supportive small-group environment that encourages collaboration, discussion, and peer connection, while also receiving individualized 1:1 support tailored to their unique strengths and learning needs.

Through high-interest texts, interactive activities, and evidence-based teaching strategies, participants develop the skills and self-confidence needed to succeed in school and become capable, motivated learners.

The program includes parent resources and practical strategies to help families support reading at home and reinforce the skills students are learning throughout the program.

Registration

At LDALR, we do not want our fees to act as a barrier to any family registering for our programs. During the intake and registration for program phase, our staff would be pleased to discuss with you the option of reducing or waiving fees.

If your child is new to our student programs, please click on the button to complete the new client intake form. Please be prepared to include documents that are being requested throughout the form (assessment documentation, IEPs, report cards). We will contact you to discuss the programs and services you are interested in, as well as discuss any questions you may have.
