At LDALR, we do not want our fees to act as a barrier to any family registering for our programs. During the intake and registration for program phase, our staff would be pleased to discuss with you the option of reducing or waiving fees.

  • This Executive Functioning Camp is designed to help students build skills for focus, organization, planning, and confidence using strategies you can actually use at school and home.

  • The Tech Discovery Summer Camp gives campers the opportunity to practice their computer skills, typing skills, and explore the different uses of assistive technology.

  • This Summer Camp aims to help improve reading by focusing on decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Campers and Parents will go home with a “literacy toolkit”.

  • Transitioning to post-secondary school can be a big adjustment. This camp provides students with activities and strategies that will help them as they transition to secondary school.

  • Young Einstein’s provides campers with the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities. These activities are in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

  • Adventures in Learning is designed to help campers with the transition from summer vacation to the social, academic, and organizational expectations of school.

LDALR summer camps are designed specifically for students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD. Camp staff will help our campers build confidence, self-esteem, and social connections. Camps will help minimize learning loss and gaps by teaching needed skills and strategies that lead to increased learning success. We offer day camp options throughout both July and August with a different skill-based learning element (theme) for each camp week.

 Each camp week provides team building and social-emotional learning activities. Each day will include recreation time and other fun activities in the community, such as swimming, kickboxing, and some camp weeks include a special guest presentation.

Camp drop off is between 8:30-9:00 am, and pick up is between 3:30-4:00 pm.

Summer camps at LDALR overall provide a little bit of learning and a whole lot of fun!

Please note that we cannot provide direct behavioural support. In order for each child to benefit from our summer camp programs, every participant must be able to work in a group session without demonstrating a need for 1:1 behavioural support.

Once you have your spot confirmed by our LDA-LR team, details on how to make a payment will be sent to you via email.

If your child is a new client seeking information about our programs/services for children, youth, parents and families please click on the button below to complete the new client intake form. Please be prepared to include documents that are being requested throughout the form (assessment documentation, IEPs, report cards). We will contact you to discuss the programs and services you are interested in as well discuss any questions you may have.
